The visa web portal www.srilankaevisa.lk has been deactivated with effect from 02.08.2024.
Nationals from eligible countries, including Switzerland, can obtain tourist visa on arrival at the port of entry (i.e airport, seaport)
Nationals of Afghanistan, Syria, Ghana, Nigeria, Pakistan, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, North Korea and Myanmar are requested to apply for tourist visa from the Head Office of the Department of Immigration and Emigration in Colombo through a representative. For further information/clarifications, please contact the Consulate General.
The applicable visa fees remain unchanged.
Nationals of China, India, Indonesia, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Japan who are exempted from the visa fee may also obtain tourist visa on arrival at the port of entry on gratis basis.
The above procedures for applying for tourist visas are effective until further notice.
