Hon. Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, Minister of Health and Mass Media had a bilateral meeting with the Hon. Tandin Wangchuk, Minister of Health of Bhutan on 19 May 2026, on the sidelines of the Seventy-ninth World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, and discussed collaboration in many areas, including medical education, experience sharing in prevention of non-communicable diseases as well as strengthening regional governance.
Hon. Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, Minister of Health and Mass Media had a bilateral meeting with the Hon. Dr. M.A. Muhit, State Minister for Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh, on 19 May 2026, on the sidelines of the Seventy-ninth World Health Assembly, in Geneva, Switzerland and discussed deepening cooperation in the areas of pharmaceutical industry and medical education.
Hon. Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, had a discussion with Ms. Lisa Stevens, Director of the IAEA Programme of Action for Cancer Therapy and her team, on 20 May 2026, on the sidelines of the Seventy-ninth World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. The discussion focused on how the 2025 imPACT Review report has been useful to the GOSL and further collaboration in the areas of Cancer Care, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Safety Standards, etc.
