Expression of Interest for Revamping Currency Operations
Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL)

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the apex institution in the financial sector in Sri Lanka, has invited sealed Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested parties to revamp currency operations at the Currency Department of CBSL.

CBSL is planning to revamp existing currency operations by increasing operational capacity and improving operational efficiencies by procuring three new high-speed currency note processing machines.

The attached Bid Notice would provide further details on eligibility criteria and the procedure for submitting EOI.

The deadline for submission of EOI is 1430 hours (Sri Lanka Time GMT+5:30 Time Zone) on or before 26th October 2020.

(STAGE 1)

The Ministry of Defence of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has invited sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders to supply Tactical Radio Communication Equipment for upgrading and modernization of Sri Lanka Army Radio Communication System (stage I).

The work consists of supply and to provide technical support to upgrade and modernize Sri Lanka Army Radio Communication system with tactical radios and related equipment and accessories listed in the tender notice.

Registration of Suppliers to Supply of Coal for Lakvijaya Power Plant Norochcholi, Sri Lanka

The Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy on behalf of Lanka Coal Company (Pvt) Ltd., has called for sealed applications for registration of Coal Suppliers to supply Coal for the 900MW Lakvijaya Coal Power Plant in Puttalam, Sri Lanka. Lakvijaya Coal Power Plant requires 2.25+10 % Million MT of coal every year.

The registration will be done for three years and can be renewed after evaluation on the criteria for registration. Once registered, the plant will call bids only from those who have registered.
