Steps have been taken to build a well-equipped fish market in Trincomalee town at a cost of Rs.150 million, Nation Building Minister in charge of Eastern Development Affairs Susantha Punchinilame told Lankapuvath.
The proposed new market consists of a rest room, a conference room, and other sanitary facilities and the construction will begin within next two months with the proposals of business community in the area, he added.
