Ambassador Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka presides at the plenary meeting of the UPR

H.E. Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka, Ambassador/Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in Geneva, In his capacity as the Vice-President of the Human Rights Council (HRC) presided at the 18^th plenary meeting of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the 8^th Session of the HRC today (11th June 2008).

Argentina, Gabon, Ghana and Guatemala were the four countries which came under review during this plenary meeting.
