Sri Lanka to host telecom forum in April

 Sri Lanka will host an international telecom forum of network standardization in April together with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the Commonwealth Telecommunications Union (CTO), Telecommunications Regulatory Commission director General said.

Next generation networks (NGN) allows multiple services to be delivered through one network using internet protocol and the conference will focus on the major advancement via standardization in the context of the convergence of voice, data and internet services in the Asian region. 

The 'Next Generation Networks Standardization Forum' will run from April 07th to April 10th in Colombo.
