The Air Force spokesperson, Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara, speaking to the defence.lk said that the air raid was launched around 11.30 a.m to assist the ground troops of Task Force1 engaged in offensive march in Mannar front. The target was accurately hit, spokesperson added.
