H.E. Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka, Ambassador/Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in Geneva, In his capacity as the Vice-President of the Human Rights Council (HRC) presided at the 18th plenary meeting of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the 8th Session of the HRC today (11th June 2008).

Argentina, Gabon, Ghana and Guatemala were the four countries which came under review during this plenary meeting.
