Pettah Bus Terminal Bomb Blast Completes 21 Years PDF Print E-mail

 TIGER TERRORISM MARKED its presence on April 21st 1987 at  the capital’s Central Bus Stand in Colombo Fort, Pettah, exactly 21 years ago when Tiger terrorists triggered a powerful bomb claiming the lives of 110 innocent passengers and civilians.

The explosion permanently maimed around forty men, women and children out of a total of 298 injured civilians and armed forces personnel who received injuries in the attack.

The LTTE bloodbath deprived more than one hundred of their spouses and breadwinners.

May all of them attain Nirvana !
