People call for Prabhakaran’s surrender PDF Print E-mail

 A large number of people yesterday paraded in Jaffna against the LTTE and its Leader Velupillai Prabhakaran demanding him to stop committing atrocities against Tamil people and surrender to the Army by laying down arms, the Army Headquarters said.

One procession started from Kaithadi and reached Chavakachcheri town with the participation of a large number of civilians shouting slogans and displaying banners, demanding Prabhakaran to honour the views of Jaffna and Thennamarachchi people and surrender to the Army giving up the war. 



They also called on Prabhakaran to release the Tamil civilians used as human shields. Another procession coming towards Chavakachcheri town from Kodikamam area urged Prabhakaran to surrender, the army said in a statement.
