 Desperation is best seen when an organization resorts to the same abortive measure to overcome its present sorry situation. The LTTE's latest attempt to attack the Army Forward Defence in Muhamalai on Wednesday (April 23) shows nothing other than its utter desperation to resuscitate its shattering image amid ever increasing defeats it suffers at the hands of Sri Lankan Security Forces.

LTTE terrorists commit bloodbath against civilians; 26 killed and over 64 wounded - Piliyandala PDF Print E-mail

 LTTE terrorists have carried out a cowardly bomb attack targeting innocent civilians who were returning home after office hours at Pliyandala this evening.  According to the police sources , the bomb has been exploded inside a Ceylon Transport Board bus parked at Piliyandala, public bus stand. 16 people have been killed and over 40 people have suffered injuries, the sources added.

 The First ever Trade Fair held in Muttur in the Trincomalee district was a success with the attendance of over 5,000 people for the fair.

The Trade Fair organised by the Enterprise Resource Centre (ERC), a project of Muslim Aid Sri Lanka and its partner AmeriCares, was held on April 9 and 10.
