UN Womens’ Guild prize winner makes her way to Sri Lanka

Mrs Beverly Antille, who was the winner of the second prize at the United Nations Womens’ Guild Bazaar (UNWG) in Geneva, which included 2 return air tickets to Sri Lanka and a 6 day stay at the luxurious Siddhalepa ayurveda spa, left Switzerland for the island this week.

Over the years, the UNWG Bazaar has become a premier event within the international community, attracting close upon 6 000 visitors. Last year, apart from Sri Lanka’s focus in the main lineup of Guild prizes, a national stall set up by the Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka to the United Nations, showcasing the island’s renowned tourist attractions and its finest teas. The next UNWG bazaar will take place in November this year and Sri Lanka will continue to be featured as a  key tourist destination.
